Yamal’s Remarkable Performance
Spanish coach Luis de la Fuente expressed his perspective on Lamine Yamal’s performance by saying:
“This is my view. If he was the only Spanish player in the run for Ballon d’Or, I’d say he’s the absolute best… but there are more of our players and I respect them.”

Controversial Celebration
Lamine Yamal celebrated the goal in a unique way instead of making his usual gesture. He celebrated near the corner flag, with Pedri joining him.
