Introduction

Yesterday, Arsenal FC faced Paris Saint-Germain F.C. in the UEFA Champions League Final at Puskás Aréna.

The unbeaten Arsenal side were looking forward to beating PSG with their rock-solid defence and powerful attackers.

However, things did not go as planned as Arsenal and PSG played out a draw, with Arsenal eventually losing on penalties.


PSG Defend Their UCL

Paris Saint-Germain successfully defended their Champions League crown with a 4-3 victory in the penalty shootout.

The French side once again showed their quality on the biggest stage and secured another European title.


Vitinha Shines on the Final

Vitinha delivered an incredible performance throughout the match, earning the Man of the Match award.


Social Media Flood

After the match, PSG fans flooded social media, creating memes and jokes aimed at Arsenal, with many referring to the Gunners as “bottlers.”

Arteta’s Press Conference

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta expressed his sadness after the final by saying:

“Gabriel wanted to take the last penalty. We trained for that moment.”

He also praised PSG and their manager Luis Enrique, adding:

“Congratulations to PSG and to Luis Enrique. They are the best team in the world.”
