Yesterday, Álvaro Arbeloa attended a press conference at Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground. He highlighted the recent conflict between Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico Valverde, while expressing his thoughts on Kylian Mbappé’s current situation.

Regarding the locker room tension, Arbeloa said:

“For me, the most serious issue is that what happens in the locker room should stay in the locker room. The incident was just bad luck, and it needs to be put to rest.”

He also defended Mbappé, who has faced criticism for his attitude during this delicate period:

“Kylian Mbappé made a huge effort to play for Real Madrid; we all know that. He had to give up a lot to fulfill his dream, because we all saw him as a kid in a Real Madrid tracksuit.”
