Introduction

The FA has banned Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk for four years for an anti-doping offence. He has already been provisionally suspended since December 2024.

The Allegations & Defense

The reports claimed that he tested positive for the banned substance meldonium. However, Mudryk refuses these claims and suggests that it was unintentional. Mudryk claims that it came from a stem cell injection given by the Ukrainian national team medical staff.

The Legal Battle

Now, he will appeal against the FA’s decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The reports indicate that the court will most likely reduce the ban if he can find real evidence that the medical staff had given it to him without his knowledge.
