Barcelona’s medical staff have confirmed that Lamine Yamal will be out for the rest of the season due to a hamstring tear.

Yamal has been an incredible winger for FC Barcelona, contributing 24 goals and 18 assists in 45 games this season.

He is set to miss El Clásico on May 10, raising questions about whether he could force a return in time for the match.

After undergoing an X-ray, Yamal stated:
“This injury leaves me off the pitch at the moment I wanted to be there the most, and it hurts more than I can explain. It hurts not being able to fight alongside my teammates, not being able to help when the team needs me. But I believe in them and I know they’re going to give their all in every match.”
