Arda Güler’s Hamstring Injury: Will He Miss the Remainder of the Season?

Arda Güler’s season is almost over after suffering a muscle injury. Reports state that Arda’s biceps femoris has suffered a muscle injury.

Arda Güler is expected to miss the whole season, including El Clásico.

How did Arda get injured?

During Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Alavés on April 21/22, 2026, he started the game but felt discomfort and was substituted in the 58th minute. After the match, Arda Güler was sent to the hospital for an X-ray check, and doctors realized it was a biceps femoris muscle injury in the hamstring.

Real Madrid’s official page said:
“After the tests carried out today on our player Arda Güler by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the biceps femoris of his right leg. Pending evolution.”
