Yesterday, Pep Guardiola attended a press conference where he paid tribute to Bernardo Silva and reflected on Manchester City’s future.

Pep Guardiola praised Bernardo by saying:
“Part of myself is leaving too.”

“It’ll be difficult to imagine without him. On and off the pitch, during nine years, he’s been massively, massively, massively important.”

He also reflected on the future, saying:
“If we lose, I will shake hands with Mikel Arteta and I will pray Arsenal lose the next five games to be champions…”

“…but I think it’s not going to happen. So, we have to try to win our game today.”
