esterday, Arsenal hosted Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League quarter-finals second leg at the Emirates Stadium. The match was packed with incredible performances. As expected, Sporting Lisbon were eliminated, and Arsenal qualified for the next stage.

Martín Zubimendi played very solidly throughout the match and earned the Man of the Match award.

After the match, Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal captain attended a press conference where they shared their thoughts.

Arteta praised Declan Rice, saying:
“Yesterday Declan Rice was shattered—he had no chance to play today… but he played 94 minutes.”

“There is a reason why we are the only English team in this competition.”
