After the match against Leeds United, Michael Carrick attended a press conference where he shared his thoughts on the foul involving Lisandro Martínez.

Carrick said:
“It’s shocking to send off Licha. Shocking.

One of the worst decisions I have ever seen. You can see that in two games in a row, we’ve had those decisions go against us.”
